about

I know nothing about Ray Charles, other than he never signed with Motown Records, he was blind & he was in the film, The Blues Brothers. But according to this composition, he was also a Communist, a Poet & a Prophet.

Featured in this recording are songs by Ray Charles, poetry by Ezra Pound & Pier Paolo Pasolini, excerpts from The Communist Manifesto and the ever present radio waves picked up by an ICOM IC-R5.

Featuring Alexander D. Williams and Samuel T. Gribbon

Recorded on 1/4" magnetic tape
